Don’t you hate when you’re trying to organize your pictures on your computer? Sometimes you place duplicates of a file and you don’t realize that you have done so until you’re almost finished. Or sometimes you can’t remember what you named a file. It’s just so time consuming trying to go back and find a specific picture. A lot of people hate facing this issue, but they also hate having to look at the images individually to try to find the best one. Why continue to waste your precious time when you could be spending that time doing something much more valuable? You can reduce your photo searching time by using the program Picasa.

Picasa is a safe and easy program to download. It was originally created by Idealab in 2002 and has been owned by Google since 2004. This is a resource that helps users organize and edit digital photos, plus it is an integrated photo-sharing website. When dealing with pictures, there are special tracking pictures that come included. Some of them include tags, facial recognition, and collections for further sorting. Other basic photo editing functions include color enhancement, red eye reduction, and cropping. Additional features include slide shows, printing, and image timelines. By setting up page layouts or reducing the file size, images can also be prepared for external use, such as e-mailing or printing.

By using Picasa you will no longer need to worry about dealing with duplicated images, even if they don’t have the same file name. Isn’t that cool? This program also allows you to move picture files into different folders. It literally shows you how grouping pictures together is done. Another cool feature that comes with this program is that searches can be done by color. If you need a picture of a landscape you can search your files for something that is predominately green and the green images that are available will be brought up for you. This doesn’t only have to be done for files including green features, but searches can be done with a wide variety of colors.

Rather than having to go search through all of your files to find the right one, Picasa allows you to select pictures that only contain faces. You can program it to recognize faces with the click of a button. This will save you a lot of time. Don’t you wish all programs included such a great feature?

Not only does Picasa make searching much easier, but the program also has a special feature to help keep track of which files have already been backed up and which haven’t. You no longer have to worry about losing any of your images.

Picasa is a great and simple program to use. If any of these features sound appealing to you, then you should definitely consider trying this resource. You won’t know how wonderful this program is until you try it. This new experience is just a couple clicks away.
